Beni Municipality

Beni Municipality is in Myagdi District of Gandaki Province. It was established in 2071 BS. Kaligandaki river borders the municipality to the east, similarly, Mangala Rural Municipality to west, Raghuganga Rural Municipality to North and Baglung Municipality to its south. It is headquarter of Myagdi district and most of the government offices are stationed in the municipality. 

Out of the total population in the municiplaity 92% speak Nepali whereas 4.2% speak Magar and 1.89% speak Newari. 29% of population are Chhetris followed by 16% of Magars. Percentage share of Baglung to total urban population is 0.35% only.
