Kamal Bazaar Municipality is in Achham District of Sudur Paschim Province. It was established in 2072 BS. Bayala, Muli, Chalsa, Dhanku Shera, & Mastawandali VDC’s were merged to form Kamal Bazaar Municipality as per the decision of the Cabinet held on Bhadra 30 2072 BS. As per the Population Census 2011 Population of Kamal Bazaar is 23738. Out of the total population in the municiplaity 99.92% speak Nepali. 48.08% of municipal population are Chhetri and 18.23% are Brahmins followed by 11.54% of Kami.
